God Only Knows

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

I guess it’s time for me to get back to work huh LOL!! So, it’s back
to the journal. How was your Christmas? I hope all went well for you.
Judy and I had a fairly decent Christmas. The Chicken took longer than
expected for me to roast hehehe being I hadn’t done that it decades and
also not in an electric oven, not to mention this oven LOL. Oh well, it all
finally got done and Judy and I had a nice Christmas dinner and then we
watched some Christmas movies afterwards. I bought us something for
our house such as a back up radiator heater for those times that we could
be without heating oil for some reason or another. So we should be OK
this winter. I bought and gave Judy her present a little early being they
were things she needed to have before Christmas LOL and also the fact
she was with me and saw the Tinkerbell throw I bought for her so it was
surely no surprise that could be wrapped :). I also bought her some cute
little Christmas broaches for her to wear. She bought me some cologne
I had asked for. I have not been feeling well lately, but that could be due
to not only my ongoing health problems, but missing my family and friends,
which adds to my health issues. Oh well, that’s life. Judy went up and
spent all the day until 10 at night Saturday at her oldest daughters house
visiting with her youngest daughter as well and all that came up. I could
not go due to my health so I had to stay home. It’s been a much different
experience for me up here in Maine. Rather lonesome. Oh well, I guess
I will survive LOL. I didn’t write any last week, because I just figured I
deserved a vacation from writing too hehehe HoHoHo. Well, I guess
my vacation is over. Judy went back to work yesterday (Sunday). Yep,
her vacation is over as well hehehe. I thought I would write a little bit
today just to let ya know that I am back to work hehehehe so to say :).
Back to writing. No pay, but tons of blessings. We’ve gotten a few
Christmas cards from friends and family. I even got a card from one
of my old classmates in Wills Point TX that now lives in Dallas. It’s
so great to find old friends. I have been on the phone with my friend
that I grew up with in Oak Cliff off and on. I even chatted with his
wife a few times. She is a nice gal. I am so happy for Mark. I wish
I could visit them sometime, but I have a feeling that will not come
to be anytime soon. Yet I do have his phone number and we can talk
now and revisit old times with memories. We most surely had a white
Christmas if ya must know LOL. Yeppers, it’s still white as white
can be out there hehe. Expecting snow again this evening and onto
tomorrow and maybe rest of the week. God only knows! New Years
is upon us. Have you made any resolutions that you think you can
keep LOL? I am just going to try and make for a better year than
last year. That’s the best that I can do as far as resolutions hehehe.
God has control, yet we often do not see it, because we are clouded
by our own self-will. Also, we often get lost in our yesterdays and
tomorrows and leave no room for today. We totally throw today
in the trash when we live in our times of then and wanna. This year
take today and let it blossom into whatever it shall be tomorrow,
by doing your very best. If it messes up, then today will have yet
another chance tomorrow, but don’t rush it. Let it happen in the
best essence you can give it and let God help you along the way.
Well, with that said, I reckon it’s time for me to be taking my
little trip back through all I’ve written here and see if I can find
a good word or phrase that I can use for the title for today’s brand
new poem. So it’s off to that place of recollection that I like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE hehehe. I think I found a good title, Now
let’s see what I can do with it LOL…..Here goes!!

God Only Knows

We see the junctions
of here unto there
yet God only knows
how they get somewhere.
Maybe the doorways
and maybe the windows
lead us to places
where God only knows.
It is the journeys
from there unto here
that give the lessons
we may not see clear.
God only knows
where passages of time
are somehow forming
our daily design.
Let all the lessons
from yesterdays sight
help you in someway
make things alright.
God will send angels
to help you succeed
in all the ventures
that you surely need.

Well, I hope you had a merry Christmas and I most surely
wish you a happy and joyful new year. So I guess with that
said I will maybe write a few poems real quick and put them
in here LOL. So, give me a moment. I’ve gotta write them in
another message first then send and copyright as well as time
stamp them so I can put them individually in my poetry folder.
Be back in a minute or so LOL. OK,, so I wrote 3 poems to
add to the journal. I hope ya like them. One of the poems is
a sort of hehehe Christmas poem. Anyways I also just wrote
5 haiku hehehe for all of my haiku lovers. So ya have a little
to read until next Sunday. I might write something for New
years eve or day, but LOL don’t get your hopes up. I may
just compile it all into next Sunday’s Animal’s Greetings hehe.
Well, I guess it’s time for me to be looking for that old off
switch, but before I do that, I must wish you a wonderful
week and also a Happy New Year. Stay safe and learn from
your yesterdays what not to do, and also what to do today.
Remember, Jesus loves you and we do too. Now where’s
that off switch hiding at????? Hehehe it was hiding beneath
the Christmas tree LOL. See ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

Now on with the poems
3 and 5 LOL….more next time 🙂

What You Once Had

Clinging to minutes
leaves you askew
with all your wanting
of what you’re to do.
Venting a problem
letting it out
might be the thing
to move you about.
Don’t let the moment
become all you see,
for it then also
might not set you free.
Let time to tick on
as moments occur
and then enjoy all
the times you prefer.
Yet if you’re clinging
to what you once had
it will most surely
keep you always sad.

The Brushstrokes

A painting that’s painted
by visions insight
might have a blessing
that others delight.
A simple little valley
or a home lit with lights
might be the comfort
on some winters nights.
For within a painting
of brushstrokes design
there might be living
a wonderful time.
A time in the distance
that plays deep inside,
painted by the painter
of an on going ride.
A venture through time
in a painting that’s done
can for a moment
shine like the sun.
So take some time now
to venture and see
what’s in a painting
that can set you free.
It may the brushstrokes,
it may be designs
that give you peaceful
for your eyes to dine.

Take Christmas With You

Three days after Christmas
ones look then ahead
to see what they’ve gotten,
not given instead.
Time paints the minutes
of all we remember
from that most wonderful
day in December.
Christmas is sometimes
left all askew
with what we’re wishing
that surely was true.
Three days go on by
and leave ones at loss
for they paid surely
too high of a cost.
Not letting God’s spirit
to give and delight
now finds as passage
that’s coming in sight.
Three days may be seen
by many that live
only by taking
and never to give.
I hope that this Christmas
found you much joy
the same as the gift
to a little girl or boy.
Don’t let the blessings
to just fade away.
Take Christmas with you
in your everyday.

Haiku
for Dec 28, 2009

Time fills the potholes
that our journeys have given
and makes a new road.

Now is but a scene
in the journals of passage
which time has written.

New days upon us
give many choices to choose
with both right and wrong.

Places are painted
by the threads of tomorrows
from our yesterdays.

Many will linger
in the essence of burdens,
because of their guilt.

Different Taste

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends
&
MERRY CHRISTMAS

I’m back again and back in poetry and haiku mode LOL. I hope
you enjoyed the flashback of poetry last week. The weather up here
is still very wintry. It’s snowing lightly right now, but should get a
bit heavier later on this evening. Snow to be piled upon the snow that
is still here from the days before LOL. Yeppers, it looks like we will
most surely have a white Christmas as well as New Years, Easter,
etc, etc hehehe. I love snow, yet I wish it didn’t have to get so dad
burned cold. It’s 12 F degrees right now. The F is for Fahrenheit,
so get your mind out of the gutter LOL. I have some good news for
me :). Yesterday I found one of my very best friends that I grew up
with in Dallas. Apparently he had been searching for me as well :).
We got to know each other from ages 6 and up hehehehe. We were
many times thought to be brothers, being we were inseparable. Yet
years did separate us in our endeavors. Well, he and his wife and kids
live in Oklahoma. I paid for a public search earlier this year to try
and find him and came up empty handed, yet yesterday I found him
on FaceBook hehehe. I knew it had to be him, for he is one tall dude.
He wasn’t always LOL. Growing up, I was his so called big brother
that came to his rescue when bully’s were picking on him as well as
all the other little kids. I was a big kid early in life. Mark is only one
year younger than me LOL. He’s close to 7 foot tall now hehehehe.
Now he’s my big brother LOL. So now I guess I have bored you
enough on that topic hehehe and it’s therefore time for me to drift
off to yet another. Judy and I are planning on doing some Christmas
shopping for one another Wednesday and then later, driving around
to look at Christmas lights or at least look to try to find some LOL.
They ain’t as much into Christmas lights up here as they are down
Texas ways. I guess it could be the fact that all the snow and cold
makes it hard to get them down once they’re up LOL. So if they are
up, they are up for the rest of the year hehehehe HoHoHo. Our
solar powered Christmas lights on our front door steps have been
up since last Christmas :). Hey, they make a great porch light at
night especially when the electricity is knocked out due to high winds
or snow or something LOL! There’s been many times those things
have helped us find the front door hehehehe. Who’d of ever thunk
that this old Texan would be living up here in Northeastern Maine?
Not me for sure LOL!!! Nope, I never in my wildest dreams thought
I would ever move from the state of Texas, much less move where
the temps get as low as 50 below zero brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
Nope, it was a surprise for this Texan. Yet I am surviving, sort of!
God has kept His Hands on Judy and I as storms have come into our
seas. Many times we have seen no light at the end of the tunnels,
yet an angel of God’s come with some peace. We do have quite a
few rocky moments up here, but it seems that we always somehow
pull through. I hope and pray that my mom and sister can make
it up here this coming summer. I sure do miss seeing any of my
friends and family. Wish my health were better and we were in a
much better financial standing so I could go and see them all,
but this is how things are, so I must be satisfied and try to make
the best of it. I have a wife that loves me which is a blessing in
the most abundance. We both enjoy most of the same things, yet
like anyone, we do have our different taste in things. You will
not find anyone that likes every single thing that you do, for we
all have our differences. Even identical twins are very different
in their wants and wishes. I should know hehehehehehe being I’m
married to one. Judy and her sister Trudy are like night and day
in their personalities. There were two twins in school, Bart B. and
Bill B. and they were like night and day. Bill was the nice one and
Bart had an ornery streak LOL. Anyways, God gave us all our
very own personalities that may exist in look alike bodies. Inside
is what makes us who we are. It’s not how we look or what we
wear. Look to see who the person is on the inside and focus a
little less on the outer shell, because outer shells are deceiving.
I guess I need to be taking my little venture back through all
I have written to that place of recollection to see if I can find
a good word or phrase that I can use for today’s brand new
poem. So it’s away like a flash I go to that place that I like to
call RECOLLECT VILLE. I believe I found a good title in
my little reminiscing journey LOL. Now let’s see what I can do
with it hehehehe HoHoHo!

Different Taste

Different times
of different views
signify ones
walking shoes.
Different taste
for different things
brings so many
wedding rings.
Joined together
taste accord
ones can blossom
with The Lord.
Christmas comes
to you and me
different taste
in how we see.
We’ve been given
time to find
ways to seek
a likeness mind.
Connecting rhythms
different taste
so that nothing
goes to waste.
Christmas blessings
come around
when we’re seeking
common ground.

Dec 20, 2009

I hope you got something out of that poem hehehe as also all my
rambling in the journal. I can’t wait till Christmas gets here, yet
I never want it to leave, so it lives here always and it’s only the day
that slips away. Judy and I are going to head up to Caribou Maine
Saturday to see her daughters and grand kids. I hope the weather
isn’t too bad. It don’t matter cause we’re going LOL. Gotta give
the kids their Christmas gifts! Judy and I are planning on having a
nice little Christmas dinner here at home and watch some Christmas
movies. I’m roasting a chicken being that neither of us is crazy about
turkey LOL. Judy also bought some microwavable ham and stuff
to go with the chicken. I will also maybe make mashed potatoes and
what ever else we think of we want. Our Christmas tree has all of
gifts lying underneath it awaiting to meet their owners :). It’s slacked
off snowing as I look outside, but it’s supposed to begin again later on
this evening. I think it might before then LOL as I look at my weather
program and animated weather display hehehe. Well I guess it’s time
for me to be telling ya what I tell ya every week and that is, yes this
week I wrote some more poems and yes even some more haiku. I even
wrote 10 YoVille haiku. Of course I haven’t posted all of the haiku
yet in YoVille. I posted a few yesterday. I’ll post more today and
tomorrow LOL. But all in all I wrote 10 poems and 22 haiku plus the
10 Yoville haiku. A midst all of the poems you will find 5 brand new
Christmas poems. I hope you enjoy them. Ok with that said, I
reckon it’s time for me to be searching for that old off switch so I can
cease my writing, but before I do that I want to wish you a very
Merry Christmas. May you find many blessings. Have a great week.
Now for that off switch. Where oh where can that thing be, that so often
hides from me hehehe. Found it in the heater vent shivering LOL.
See ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

P.S. Keep Judy in your prayers.
It’s stressful at the restaurant during these holidays with all
the changes from the diner burning down! I do hope and
pray that the new diner is rebuilt real soon, for her sake :).

Now on with the poems
10 and 22 + 10 🙂 hehehe

Waiting For Santa

Paces of footing
stepping in tune
seem to be wanting
for Christmastime soon.
So many people
daily we find
with all their paces
of wanting in mind.
Places and minutes
gather the view
bringing the essence
of Christmastime true.
It seems the weather
decides what we see
when we go pacing
our own one two three.
Paces are mentioned
as footsteps design
which are the minutes
unto Christmastime.
Footsteps are paces
that find many found
waiting for Santa
to come into town.

Blended Up Frames

Blenders of seconds
mix up the view
making us wonder
what’s false and what’s true.
So often people
will say what they will
and they’ll determine
the way that we feel.
Links to tomorrow
are found in today
blended up surely
in a magical way.
We might not see them
the seconds entwined
that are the blenders
of time after time.
It is the echoes
from blended up frames
that are the seconds
that lead us to gains.

Ask God To Help You

When you are worried
and sadness is found
seek for the blessings
in Jesus abound.
When you are burdened
with now and today
pray to Lord Jesus
to take them away.
When you’re in misery
and cannot smile
seek for the moments
of long ago while.
When you’re alone
and cannot withstand
remember Lord Jesus
is always at hand.
When you miss loved ones
you now cannot see,
ask God to help you
through your memory.

Coming To Town

Santa is coming
Ho Ho Ho
Christmas eve
in the midst of snow.
Santa’s sleigh bells
ringing true
in the nighttime
Christmas hue.
Santa is coming
soon to see
late at night
on Christmas Eve.
Found in rhythm
hoofs are prancing
on each rooftop
sort of dancing.
Santa is coming
so prepare
milk and cookies
with love and care.
He’ll soon be here
jolly and round.
Yes old Santa
is coming to town.

A Jingle Bell Song

Jingles bells flavors
heard oh so sweet
sometimes seem
as times repeat.
Long ago portions
of Jingle bells heard
may just become as
a word after word.
Songs we are singing
become such a time
remembered as essence
of yours and of mine.
All of the songs
that the radio plays
seem to encompass
those wonderful days.
Jingle bells flavors
sequenced in place
sometimes remind us
of someone’s kind face.
Christmas rekindles
those wonderful times
that live inside us
as greatest designs.
Hearts through moments
of a Jingle Bell song
bring us back surely
right where we belong

How We Think

Hearts are numbered,
beats are found
as so many
waltz around.
Players playing
with each heart
leaves so many
torn apart.
Hearts are numbered
by God’s pen
through the moments
now and agin.
Weathered turnstiles
fragranced true
will determine
me and you.
Hear and now
is found in sync
what we do
and how we think.
Hearts are numbered
so to say
as so many
waltz away.
Often people
leave their choice
found within
another’s voice.
Don’t be numbered
found in place
with but only
days disgrace.

True Solid Ground

I feel the season
of Christmas today
coming alive in a
magical way.
All of the blessings
that Christmas provides
are now upon me
as Jesus resides.
I feel the passion
of winters detail
ringing its glory
of Christmastimes bell.
Joyous the sound is
as echoes are found
with all the blessings
of True Solid Ground
I feel my heartbeat
beating in time
of this most joyful
seasons design.
This very season
brings into play
all of the blessings
that came Christmas day.

It Takes Movement

Moments upon us
give us a chance
for us to change up
our days song and dance.
Minutes to prosper
are found in place
for us to gain from
Lord God’s saving grace.
Moments will wither
if we do not use
and we continue
to choose to abuse.
Timeframes are given
and taken away
when we’re deceivers
of day after day.
Moments upon us
give us anew
yet it takes movement
to make them come true.

God’s Only Son

Glad tidings ring
of the joyous detail
found in the minutes
that we know so well.
On that great night
that we so remember
of that sweet baby
on Christmas December.
Found in a manger
by many that came
was that of God’s Son,
Jesus by Name.
Glad tidings rang
as the angels sang true
Jesus was born
for both me and you.
He came on this day
to help us begin
passage to Heaven
forgiven from sin.
The things that guided
those come from afar
was God’s angels
and a bright shining star.
They traveled for miles
to see that great One
that was the glory
of God’s Only Son.

There Are Lessons

Lessons are found
as time moves along
maybe where we think
they don’t belong.
Yet there are lessons
found in our frame
from all the things
we’ve done time again.
Times will confuse us
as minutes move on,
yet we’ll have lessons
to start a new dawn.
What we encounter
might not be clear
how it can help us
get there unto here.
Yet there are lessons
sometimes hidden well
found in the moments
we did not foretell.

Morning is coming
from nights billowed passageway.
Awaken with smiles.

Hands in cookie jars
simulates ones greediness.
It can cause sadness.

A plea for true love
comes from the darkness of night.
Be seen and be loved.

Trials are teachers
with lessons not often seen
until they are needed.

Winter’s awakened
and shown us its times magic
with white snows design.

Trivial pages
are written in sentences
of our daily greed.

So much confusion
becomes life of tomorrow
beginning today.

In a Christmas wish
there is hope as a twinkle
found within a child.

Under a Christmas tree
lies the dreams of Santa Claus
with ribbons and bows.

Hello is a word
that many will overuse
while saying goodbye.

A Christmas of white
billows inside of heartbeats
of seasons delight.

Leaving a welcome
as but only a doormat
makes for only lies.

Seasonal settings
with Christmastimes sweet music
sometimes forgets God.

Fragrant surroundings
in this New England meadow
are scented so sweet.

The poor are needing,
yet many will walk on by
without not a care.

Under mistletoe
are ones in seasons passion
that may just ignite.

Some times are counted
as thresholds of what’s wanted,
yet found not needed.

Someone’s bitterness
can become as destruction
within future days.

Ornery people
with their wicked behavior
will answer to God.

Words can mislead you
leaving you stood in dismay.
Be true to your words.

Peace is acceptance.

Snow covered pathways

It takes ones to tread.

Blind are deceivers

Just but a second

Many will fall down

Want What We Want

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

This will be sort of short and sweet being I am not feeling well
and it hurts to sit up to type, but I will try to not be too short :).
This passed week has been a bit of a wintry one. Judy and me
have been watching a few Christmas movies off and on. A few
that we watched were Santa Who? and Stealing Christmas. They
were pretty good. We’re planning on getting out all of our old
Christmas movies and watching all we can soon HoHoHo. Yep
it’s looking more and more like Christmas as I look outside at
the snow. There is more snow coming this evening as also in the
forecast for the rest of the week. So Mr. Winter has stepped up
to bat and he’s throwing snowballs LOL and rattling the windows.
We’re keeping warm. I won’t get into what’s ailing me hehehe
being I don’t want a bunch of people playing doctor and sending
me their cures, being I know how to take care of myself better
than ones would think LOL. A lot of health issues cannot be
avoided though, ouchy. Well, it’s onwards to another subject.
I didn’t write any this week being it has hurt too much to try and
sit up and type, but I am going to share some of my old poetry
from Decembers of years ago that you either may have missed
or literally forgotten hehehe. I will though attempt to sit here
and write you a quick little poem for today in a bit, but it is on
with the shortish journal. Judy’s place of business is still doing
well, but Judy and the bunch are still wishing that they were
back in the diner. Oh well, in good time. The restaurant will
suffice for now :). God has a way of taking care of us when we
think He may not even be there at all. I know He did me many
years in my past. I struggled with my life through many problems
that were thrown at me from every which way and many times
felt all alone, but God had not left me. He had His angels always
watching over me through it all. They helped me to get to where
I am today and they are still lending a hand when needed. God
knows what we need better than anyone. Most times it’s just
patience for we want what we want and want it now. Try and
be patient and let God’s timing to come. Now I must cease
my writing before the pain gets too bad and begin my journey
back through all I’ve written to that place of my recollection
that I like to call RECOLLECT VILLE and see if I can find
a good word or phrase that I can use for the title for today’s
brand new poem. Found one, so here goes!

Want What We Want

We many times want
what now doesn’t give
and strive for the time
for daily to live.
We want what we want
and we want it now
gifts from the givers
someway somehow.
Christmas beginnings
are sometimes mislead
when we go wishing
for timeframes ahead.
Let this days turnstile
find wantings cease
as Christmas blessings
fill you with peace.
Don’t go just wanting
with each setting sun.
Remember this Christmas
what Lord God has done.
He gave that baby
that grew to a man
giving us daily
what no other can.

Dec 13, 2009

I hope you liked that. Well I’ve got to cease my writing now,
but before I do, I will tell you again what I told you in the other
half and that is, I did not write anything this week. I’ll get back
to my old ornery self again soon and I will begin my writing. Yet,
I do have tons of poems from the past that many of you have not
read and I even have some hehehe that none of you have read,
but for today, I will share some from a December from the past.
Actually hehehe these poems are from when we first moved up
here to Maine from Texas. I thought they would be appropriate.
Hope you like them. Well I’ve got to find that off switch, but
before I do that I want to wish you a wonderful joyous season.
Remember Jesus loves you and we do too. Now to find that off
switch. Hehehe it was lazy this time. Sitting right in front of me.
See ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

I didn’t count them LOL. and no haiku this week.
Maybe next week hehehe HoHoHo who knows 🙂

Thresholds of Wisdom

Wisdom in thresholds
fills up a void
of lessons by numbers
countless enjoyed.
Many find moments
so timelessly seen,
but yet they don’t know
what it is that they mean.
Wisdom then misses
and leaves in its place
the long look of stupid
that’s found in disgrace.
Thresholds of wisdom
can open up wide
and let in the reasons
ones lived and they died.
Don’t let the wisdom
to just fade away
by just doing stupidly
your day to day.

Cold Winters Way

The season is coming
with its own display
of white snow a falling
in Maine now today.
The car is all covered
with white fallen snow
and we have some places
we’re needing to go.
Yet Christmas season
is coming so fine
with all the jingle bells
joyous design.
Songs on the radio
playing in tune
Silent Night Christmassy
what’s coming soon.
Now I stand watching
the snow falling down
covering up everything
that can be found.
Hills in the distance
once seen sort of fair
are hidden as if they’re
not really there.
Yet I still hear those
sweet joyous sounds
of Jesus Christ breathing
love that abounds.
Angels from Heaven
telling so true
that no matter how bad
He loves me and you.
So on this snowy day
I stand here a while
and find in me growing
a Christmassy smile.
One that is truly
so great to be seen
as I sit here a dreaming
of a Christmas of green,
Where I had lived
before now and today,
but yet I see snow falling
cold winters way.

Happy To See

Find yourself happy
through all your despair
and let happy bring you
through with a prayer.
Sadness can dampen
all that’s around
if you allow it
to always be found.
Find yourself happy
when times are so sad
and search through to find what’s
not all that bad.
Find yourself happy
even when you’re not
and you might find happy
and happy a lot.
I know sometimes happy
is real hard to find,
but I say that happy
is all in your mind.
All you have to do
is decide what to be
and you can be sad
or be happy to see.

Christmas Snow Falling

Driving down the road
there is such a view
of Chrismas lights lit up
here thereunto.
Yet the snow is falling
and covering their site,
I can still see them
shining at night.
Winter is bringing in
its own display
of snow falling briskly
most every day.
We’re now inside
as we watch all the while
the snow falling down now
mile after mile.
Roads all are covered
with such great detail
that they seem an illusion
fantasy trail.
The signs of some tire tracks
driven in place
are all that display now
on the roads face.
Christmas snows falling
down fluffy white
as I and my wife now
bid you goodnight.

History’s View

How can a morning
start without shine
and how can a shadow
stand really fine
if one hides a morning
from every view
and stands in the darkness
of all that they do?
The morning needs be
as awakening while
with shadows of moments
you with a smile.
We need to allow it
as it should be
a morning of newness
for you and for me.
A new chance a new day
to do better now
what we on one day
didn’t know how.
Morning is arising
time and agin
to give us the chances
forgiven from sin.
Yet time will run out
one day and one time
and you will no longer
see that sunshine,
so take now this morning
of Gods only Son
and do what you now know
you should of done.
Let all the mornings
of history’s view
be just as lessons
with each changing you.

Please Tell Them

Some find that Christmas
is just another day
to do as they’ve always
done anyway.
They just go waltzing
the same as they’ve done
and do not even know
Lord Jesus Gods Son.
I wish they’d wake up
and see what is true,
before it is too late
for what they should do.
Won’t you please tell them
that they need to know
the joy of sweet Christmas
in their to and fro?
If you don’t right now
tell them today,
they might tomorrow
be gone away.

Give Ones A Sign

The days are a moving
till Christmas is here
so let’s all display our
great Christmas cheer.
Give to the needy
and give from your heart
a bit of hope shining
love you impart.
Christmas is given
to us each for free
so why can’t we do that
with ones that we see.
How many times
have you saw on a day
ones standing hungry
just fading away?
I’m willing you’ve seen
though didn’t even try
to give them a prayerful
in their by and by.
This Christmas wake up
and see what is true,
for those that are needing
need me and you.
Christmas is love
and Jesus Divine
so on this great day
give ones a sign.

So What’s The Story?

Where in the world
is the end of the lies
with ones day to day
and their alibis.
Here in the world
is us you and I
as we day to day
lie and we lie.
Where is the end
to the excuses way
when we will be truthful
in our day to day?
Have we not consciences
making us think
solid grounds better than
quicksand to sink.
I believe many don’t
wisely each day
kneel down to Jesus
as they humbly pray.
So what’s the story
and how shall it end?
Will you be faithful
and help out a friend?
Help them find Jesus
with what that they see
throughout day to day
with your history.

A Time That I Remember

I remember sleigh bells
in songs that were sung
and I remember moments
presents were brung.
I remember train tracks
all around the place
with a train chugging on
as moments embrace.
I remember seasons of
that Christmas joy
of my first child days
great Christmas toy.
It was the greatest
moment for me
for I saw my gift there
under the tree.
Mom and dad came
and we each would say
isn’t it wonderful
great Christmas Day.
We would exchange gifts
one at a time
as we would each open
gifts theirs and mine.
Oh the great feelings
I still remember
of my greatest Christmas
in that fine December.
Mom and dad smiling
and my sister too
as we would all gather
and watch the choo choo.
The train set a chugging
right around the tree
is a time that I remember
in my memory.

Open Your Heart Up

Don’t let the season
just pass you by
and leave you there empty
without not a try.
Open your heart up
and let Christmas day
become the very essence
of your willing way.
Give it a chance
and you might just find
that Christmas is surely
the greatest of time.
You might even then
find in a good way
that Christmas can live on
in your day to day.
Don’t let the season
fade from your view
before you let Jesus
make you as new.
Surely you’ll find
some gift in your heart
that you can share
with love to impart.
So now the question
is what will be done?
Will you love Jesus
Lord Gods only Son?

Hearts Need A Breath

Hearts of a making
find in a way
storms come a blowing
day after day.
Hearts find it hard
to keep beating true
when all-round them
their life is askew.
Hearts need a breath
from lesser so hard
to replenish beating
in loving regard.
Hearts of a making
must realize
that troubles will find them
of Satan’s device.
Problems will enter,
but hearts can survive
if in the heartbeats
God is alive.

In Repair

Worn to a frazzle
while waiting each day
for Christmas joyful
to come quick my way.
Counting the seconds,
minutes and hours
for Christmas joyful
with love it empowers.
All of the hassles
and all that’s been done
makes me to pray more
to Jesus Gods Son.
Worn from the problems
that time has bestowed,
I need Lord Jesus
to help with the load.
So Christmas joyful
won’t you appear
and help this be a
much better year!
I need the blessings
that started that day
of Christmas joyful
in wonderful way.
Worn to a frazzle
will be in repair
because I know Jesus
will answer my prayer.

He Was Born Jesus

Hold to a minute
of scenes of a day
and let it to help you
make better way.
One single minute
of smile you remember
can be the spark of
smiling December.
Remember a joy
that you found in a time
and then make today
of a recollect mind
A mere recollection
of a minute or so
can be what reminds you
of great Christmas snow.
Yes just a minute
or a moment or two
can make Christmas time
better for you.
Use then a minute
or a moment or three
to make better now
what all you see.
Christmas is greatest
with Gods Helping Hand,
for it is with Jesus
we must understand.
We must remember
the baby that day
that came upon Christmas
to show us the way.
He was born Jesus
of Gods only Son
to help us to see that
He loves everyone.

Its Very Own

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s getting closer to Christmas. Are ya in the mood HoHoHo hehe?
I’m always in the mood for Christmas. Hehehehe many have called me
Father Christmas being I look like Santa, I tend to laugh like him 🙂
and my favorite color is hehehe, you guessed, it RED. Also hehehe
being that Judy and I live up North LOL I do tend to get a lot of second
glances from children hehehe. I guess there are worse things to look
like or resemble huh HoHoHo. None the less, I do love Christmas and
snow. I said I love snow, not that stuff that comes afterwards which
causes ones to slip and fall LOL. When the snow begins to melt and
then refreeze over night it tends to cause a lot of accidents. That’s why
I bought me some cleats after my first dealing with all of that hehehe.
They strap onto any pair of shoes I am wearing and they work great.
I haven’t broken any more bones from slipping and falling on the ice
since that purchase. I was going to buy Judy some, but she said they
would just become a problem being she would have to un strap them
when she got to work and have to re strap them when she got home,
PLUS driving a car wearing them is not advised LOL. Oh well, she
can use mine if she needs them. They fit shoes from size 10 to size 13.
She wears size 10 and I wear size 13 LOL. Yep, I got big feet. You
know the old saying don’t ya. Big feet!!!! I could of been a clown :).
LOL, get you’re mind outta the gutter hehehehehehe!!!! I know what
you were thinking :). Ok, so it’s onwards to yet another topic. Last
night it snowed about an inch, which in my book ain’t but a dusting.
I’m sure that the winter snows will find their way up here soon enough.
Then I’ll be seen out playing in it and taking pictures hehehe. I had
to go out this morning at 5 AM and brush the snow off of the car and
start it so it would be warming up for Judy to drive to work. It was
not too bad! Actually it was not bad at all compared to the mornings
last winter that I had to look to try and find the car under all of the
snow and then dig it out LOL. Oh, that’s fun hehehehe at 4:30 in the
morning and 0 and below degrees. Yeppers, it does have its downside.
For those of you that are my neighbors in the YoVille game, hehehe
I have not been feeling the greatest and so I did not write any haikus
to share, but maybe this week :). Friday night we ran out of heating
oil and Judy and me had to crank up the radiator heaters as well as
our heating blanket LOL. Apparently unlike last winter when the
gauge was on empty, it was actually empty LOL. Last winter I went
into a panic and worried that we would run out before the oil guys got
here, but they said we still had almost 70 gallon left then. That was
not the same venture Friday Oopsy. Oh well, our dear landlord
came to our rescue and went and got us 5 gallons of diesel and put it
in as well as re started our furnace. Hehehe he gave me the receipt for
the oil and a cup of coffee he bought LOL. I told him I would add it
onto our next rent check hehehe. 5 gallons should last us until the oil
guys get here Monday morning and fill us up. They’re delivering 176
gallons. That should last us through to January and maybe further
if the weather stays the same as it is now, but to be honest, I hope
the winter weather finds its way home soon for many reasons hehe.
Well as I said about the haiku, I also did not write anything else poetry
wise through the week due to me being under the weather with a loss
of any kind of energy. I found myself just nodding at my PC often.
I know, that’s not unusual for me being I don’t get any sleep LOL,
but it was happening more than normal hehe. Plus I was shaking
really badly, but I’m feeling much better today with my millions of
catnaps hehehehe. I wish I could sleep like a normal person, but
that just ain’t happening LOL and for those of you that have just
recently joined the mailing list hehehe, sorry I ain’t explaining all
of the problems hehehehehe. It only makes the nurses and doctors
on my list begin offering their solutions which I am sure I have
tried every one. Seen All of the Top specialist, so now let’s drop it.
I’ve been dealing with most of the problems for almost 15 years.
Hehehehehe now onto yet another topic. Judy’s temporary place
of business is doing fairly well, yet everyone is still antsy in their
waits for the brand new Elm Tree Diner to be built. It may not
be built and ready to open until next Summer though. Oh well,
God is taking care of Judy and I just as He always has. God will
many times help us in ways that we were not wanting, but He
does know best. I think Judy and I are going to put up our new
Christmas tree this week. Always looking forward to putting up
the Christmas tree. Yet don’t always look forward to attempting
to find a place to put the confounded thing. Not that much room
in our living room ya know hehehehe. Should of rented an igloo.
Might of been more room LOL. I’m sure there would of been
come summertime hehehehe. Wall to wall nature LOL. Naw,
the trailer ain’t that small hehehe! It just seems that way time
to time LOL. There is a case of snow-blindville outside today.
Yeppers, that be one of the drawbacks to snow. It acts just
like a mirror and reflects the sunshine into your eyes. I still
love snow :), HoHoHo. I’m still amazed at how that each little
snowflake has its very own look and style. Yet when they are
gathered together on the ground, they become one entity. Sort
of makes me wonder about us. Yes we all look different, even
identical twins have differences. I should know hehehehehe,
I’m married to one :). Yes, we are all different and so many
will focus on the differences rather than the likenesses. We
may be a different color, size, shape or rhythm in life, but we
all make up the human race as all of the snowflakes make up
the snow. Let God to guide you as you look beyond prejudice
behavior and see the likenesses. We all have a home on this
big blue ball called Earth and we need to learn to get along.
I reckon it’s time for me to be taking my little venture back
through all I’ve written to that place of my recollection and
see if I can find a good word or phrase that I can use for the
title for today’s brand new poem. So, it’s away I go to that
place that I like to call RECOLLECT VILLE. I do believe that
I found a good title not far back in my re reading hehehehe.
Now let’s see what I can conjure up using it HoHoHo hehehe.
Here goes hopefully not nothing hehe :)!

Its Very Own

Life has a journey
that we may not view
found in the portions
of wintertime’s hue.
It has its very own
flavorful scenes
painted in thresholds
white over greens.
Winter has blessings
scented so sweet
such as the snowflakes
that many eat.
So much will blossom
as flowers of snow
as its very own
simple little Ho Ho.
Laughter with snowflakes
in sweet certain views
enhances journeys
for many snowshoes.
Winter as a blessing
has its very own
timeframes to enter
and make itself known.

I sure hope that poem made ya smile :). Of course I also hope my
rambling before it also made ya smile, a bit hehehe HoHoHo. Yep,
it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, everywhere we go. Here
in the Pearce’s household, it is always Christmas. We buy things
for each other and even at times are found listening to Christmas
music in the somewhat heat of the summer hehehe. I say somewhat,
being we live up north and don’t exactly have the heat we had when
we lived in Texas LOL. Heck, we only had to use our air conditioner
a couple of days this year hehehe. Being we live on a hill, we have
one heck of a breeze that works great when I open the windows :).
It does though ever so often rock the trailer on occasions hehehehe.
Well, I guess it’s time for me to be searching for that off switch, but
not before I tell you what I’ve been telling most of you for decades :),
hehehe and that is, I wrote some more poetry and haiku, 10 more
poems, yet 6 of them this week are Christmas poems. I also once
again wrote 22 haiku, but as I mentioned in the upper half of this,
I didn’t write any YoVille haiku being I’ve been under the weather.
But you’ve got 10 poems and 22 haiku to keep ya busy hehehehehe!
Ok, it’s time to be saying goodbye, but not before wishing you a
wonderful week. Remember, Jesus loves you and we do too.
Now where’s that dad burn off switch hiding at this bloody time??
LOL, found ya hiding in a thatch of my hair. Hehehe I know, I
really need to comb this mess, but why? I’m just as ugly with or
without it combed LOL. Hehehe see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

P.S. Jimmy :),,,I’ll try to send some snow your way, HoHoHo.
Keep on stepping dude and stay in touch. God bless…

Now on with the poems
10 and 22

Found To Connect

Without a moment
time cannot be
and it can’t gather
for our history.
It takes the moments
timelessly laid
to make tomorrows
then to be made.
Without a moment
we could not find
lessons that gathered
time after time.
Moments of detail
may not seem good,
yet many timeframes
are what that should.
Without a moment
we would be left
without the minutes
found to connect.

The Slightest Snowflake

The slightest snowflake
that floats to the ground
makes the occasion
for others then found.
The slightest snowflake
from skies up above
falls down most gracefully
filled with much love.
The slightest snowflake
might surely find
places to gather
time after time.
The slightest snowflake
of Christmas detail
will surely blossom
with wind and set sail.
The slightest snowflake
that’s with just a few
will make the vision
of Christmas come true.

Timeless Complete

The weather’s changing
with windows to view
such as the blessings
of Christmas come true.
Seen in the windows
of weather each day
are many blessings
soon coming our way.
Maybe with wind chills
gathered with snow
there will be moments
of times to and fro.
Times benefactors
that weather provides
will in the windows
be what coincides.
The weathers paintings
in wintertime’s hue
will make the blessings
so Christmassy new.
Painted with lifestyles
rhythms in beat
all of the paintings
timeless complete.

Learning From Others

Birds of a feather
fly as they do
in the directions
of then thereunto.
We as the feathers
will also see flight
sometimes in left ways
and sometimes at right.
Birds of a feather
in our human form
find our beginnings
when we are first born.
Step after step
in times day to day
we are the birdies
in human array.
Flight in a fashion
with feathers and wings
many are seeking
for similar things.
Birds of a feather
so many will flock
just because wording
is same that they talk.
It takes some wingspread
to flutter and fly
learning from others
as time rushes by.

All That’s Remembered

Places we’ve ventured
and we remember
may turn to journeys
of timeless December.
Pictures and music
from days long ago
may just remind us
of times fallen snow.
Places we’ve been to
and taken on in
will maybe blossom
when snowflakes begin.
Portions of heartbeats
felt in a way
may become moments
that live in today.
Places we’ve ventured
and we can recall
may be the blessings
of time overall.
All that’s remembered
as December sweet
will bring us Christmas
with Jesus complete.

It’s Our Imagination

Sometimes will somehow
meet in disguise
and make formations
we see as demise.
Yet many sometimes
are found as a view
seen as the moments
that we wish were true.
Sometimes our daydreams
somehow take control
and lead us surely
down misguided roads.
Sometimes will one way
lead to other scenes
that are the makers
of so many dreams.
It’s our imagination
that makes many flow
with all the journeys
that lead where we go.
Sometimes will somehow
take on the flight
leading from someday
and onto some night.

Christmas Like Mind

Links to our childhood
connected in time
find ways of living
in now days design.
It might be snowflakes
that fall from the skies
that will bring visions
in youth in our eyes.
It may be hillsides
painted snow white
that bring memories
of times we delight.
Links may encompass
a seasonal view
found in the places
that once lived with you.
Within our childhood
are memories to find
that will enlighten
our Christmas like mind.

Fragments of Christmases

Fragments remembered
as whos, whens and whys
may be the motions
of our childhood eyes.
Things we remember
as larger to view
might be the portions
that once lived in you.
All of the stories
that we can remember
told by our parents
about sweet December.
Fragments may moisten
as liquids in dreams
flowing as flavors
of strawberry streams.
Songs with the essence
of Santa and more
enhance the fragments
that we so adore.
Fragments of Christmases
we love so well
are what that no one
can take, buy or sell.

May Be The Things

Long times forgotten
are times we may find
coming around one day
to lay on our mind.
Things we have chosen
to never remember,
might be the minutes
to live in the embers.
Long ago journeys
you thought you erased
might turn to one day
again found retraced.
Bridges we’ve burned
with each timeless page
may find a passage
to enter this stage.
So many moments
that we stowed away
may be the things that
help us one day.

Don’t Let Him See You

Look to the Heavens
on Christmas Eve night
and you might see old
Santa in flight.
You might see Rudolf
and his nose glowing
guiding old Santa
to where all he’s going.
All of his reindeer
then seen late at night
might seem to dance on
to the tune of moonlight.
So if you’re watching
as he comes to town,
you might just see him
each chimney go down.
Don’t let him see you
with each chimney leap,
because he won’t come
if you’re not fast asleep.

Haiku
for Dec 5, 2009

Time tempered moments
are minutes that we’ve gathered
through all our struggles.

Simple little views
can make the grandest details
seen with our two eyes.

In but a second
the wind can change direction
just like our own minds.

Hurried tomorrows
never come any faster.
Do your best today.

Kindling will gather
as wood from our memories
that burns in our minds.

Horrid expressions
will create fear in numbers.
Don’t go overboard.

Rumors can destroy
so let the truth live in sight.
Don’t thrive on rumors.

Holidays joyful
fills the expressions of time
with hearts filled with love.

Time is a flower
that will bloom when it’s ready
and end when it’s time.

Points of confusion
lead journeys to tomorrow
while it is teaching.

Snow will come falling
as fluffy flakes from the sky
that land everywhere.

Only a moment
leads yesterday to today
connected in time.

So many counters
will forget what they’ve counted
as time moves along.

Holidays struggles
are the things we remember
when they are no more.

Hearing a heartbeat
leaves you focused on seconds
found in the silence.

Guarding a flower
might prevent it from growing
if guarded to close.

Reindeer seen flying
might be pulling Santa’s sleigh
on Christmas Eve night.

Hard times are blessings
that we many times don’t see
until they are gone.

A mere glancing blow
connected to misfortune
can tear up a heart.

Patterns of rhythms
which are found in emotions
are sometimes confused.

Winter brings us books
as pages of tomorrows
all covered with snow.

Our dreams are the tools
that can help us to create
what eyes cannot see.
